Yesterday we had classic elegance on 5th Ave and today we have bombastic exuberance, which is a very good thing. This is wedding cake architecture in all its glory. Wonderfully over the top. It has lost some of its icing, I mean details, but hopefully some of it makes its way back onto the facade
