Frank Winfield Woolworth residence designed by
C.P.H. Gilbert c. 1900 at Fifth Avenue and East 80th Street in
New York City. The house was torn down in 1926 to make way for the apartment house at
990 Fifth Avenue. Click

Well its another fanciful CPH Gilbert chateau on 5th Ave in his signature NYC townhouse style with a wonderful roofline.
1/2pudding1/2sauce blog featured the same townhouse in April 2012 with an interior photo and some floor plans. Very nice.

There is only one extant mansion of the 5 on this 5th ave row that still exists and its a definite favorite.
991 5th Ave? The beautiful King townhouse, was supposedly impeccably restored by the Irish American Historical Society, now housed at the location.
