399 Park Avenue designed by Schwartz & Gross c. 1920 at the corner of East 54th Street in New York City. The apartment building was demolished in the late 1950s and replaced with an office tower financed by Vincent Astor.

The Apthorp
The Apthorp apartment house designed by Clinton & Russell c. 1906 on Broadway between West 78th and 79th Streets in New York City. The building was financed by William Waldorf Astor and was built on a piece of the old Apthorp Farm that had previously existed on the Upper West Side. The building was converted to condos in 2008. The Phipps Houses No. 1
The Phipps Houses, a six-story tenement building built for Henry Phipps and designed by Grosvenor Atterbury c. 1906 at 321-337 East 31st Street in New York City. Phipps created a $1 million fund for the creation of his model tenements which were designed to prove that one could earn a return on this new, larger form of tenement design while providing more suitable living standards.
