The Isaac D. Fletcher Residence
The Isaac D. Fletcher residence designed by C.P.H. Gilbert between 1897-1899 at 2 East 79th Street in New York City. The house was purchased by Harry F. Sinclair following Fletcher's death in 1917. In 1955 the residence was purchased by the Ukrainian Institute of America which still uses the house as their headquarters. The Philip Kleeberg Residence
The Philip Kleeberg residence designed by C.P.H. Gilbert c. 1896 at 3 Riverside Drive and West 72nd Street in New York City. Kleeberg, a textiles merchant, deeded the house to his wife Maria before it was completed and she committed suicide there in 1903. The NYTimes article on her death was entitled 'Rich Woman Ends Life' with the subheading of 'Mrs. Philip Kleeberg Excuses Herself from Guests to Die'. The James E. Nichols Residence
The James E. Nichols residence designed by C.P.H. Gilbert c. 1900 at 4 East 79th Street in New York City. Nichols was the head of Austin, Nichols & Company, importers of spirits. The Nichols residence was later owned by Joseph Wright Harriman, owner of 'Avondale Farms' in Brookville on Long Island and subsequently by Ogden Phipps from 1938-1946. The house later underwent extensive alterations and after a short lived conversion has returned to use as a private residence. The Frank W. Woolworth Residence
The Frank Winfield Woolworth residence designed by C.P.H. Gilbert c. 1900 at Fifth Avenue and East 80th Street in New York City. The house was torn down in 1926 to make way for the apartment house at 990 Fifth Avenue. The Otto H. Kahn Residence
The Otto Hermann Kahn residence designed by J. Armstrong Stenhouse in conjunction with C.P.H. Gilbert c. 1918 at 1 East 91st Street in New York City. Kahn was a partner at Kuhn, Loeb & Company.
