The Leonard M. Thomas Residence

 The Leonard M. Thomas residence altered by F. Burrall Hoffman Jr. c. 1917 at 154 East 63rd Street in New York City.  The residence was built in 1914 for Frederick J. Sterner and was altered by Hoffman for Thomas three years later.  By 1919 the home was owned by a W. Lewison who brought back Hoffman to redesign the exterior.  Click HERE to see the residence on google street view.

'The Oaks'

 'The Oaks', the Jonathan Godfrey residence designed by F. Burrall Hoffman Jr. c. 1915 in Fairfield, Connecticut, with landscaping by Marian C. Coffin. Godfrey and Hoffman were friends, both being arrested together in North Carolina in 1906 after they had gone hunting past the season deadline.  The house has since been demolished.

'Vizcaya'

'Vizcaya', the James Deering estate designed by F. Burrall Hoffman Jr. between 1914 and 1923 in Miami, Florida with extensive landscaping by Diego Suarez. Deering was involved with the family business of the Deering Harvester Company, later the International Harvester Company. Today Vizcaya operates as Vizcaya Museum and Gardens.
