The Fort William Henry Hotel

 The Fort William Henry Hotel designed by Henry J. The Joseph E. Stevens Residence

'Seven Springs'

 'Seven Springs', the Eugene Meyer estate designed by Charles A. Platt c. 1918 in Mt. Kisco, New York.  Meyer was Chairman of the Board of the Federal Reserve from 1930-1933 and subsequently president of the World Bank Group and owner of the Washington Post.  'Seven Springs' is now owned by Donald Trump who recently received approval to develop the property, click HERE for more.  Click HERE to see 'Seven Springs' on google earth and HERE on bing.

'The Breezes'

'The Breezes', originally the James L. Breese residence and later the Charles Frederick Hoffman Jr. residence designed by Robert Henderson Robertson c. 1887 in Tuxedo Park, New York.  Breese left Tuxedo Park in 1900 after building 'The Orchard' in Southampton on Long Island.  Hoffman's father was the Reverend Charles F. 'Fourway Lodge'

The Hart Memorial Library

 The Hart Memorial Library designed by Barney & Chapman c. 1897 in Troy, New York.  The building serves as the main branch of the Troy Public Library system.  The library building was funded by a donation from Mary E. Hart in honor of her late husband William H. 'Fox Hollow'

 'Fox Hollow', the Tracy Dows estate designed by Harrie Lindeberg c. 1909 in Rhinebeck, New York. Dows was owner of the Beekman Arms Hotel in Rhinebeck and his NYTimes obituary called him "one of Dutchess county's most prominent citizens."  A large portion was devoted to the description of 'Fox Hollow' which consisted of over 700 acres, had a working farm and sat in a region "known as one of the most beautiful sections of the county."  Dows died in London at the age of 65 in 1937.  Click HERE to see 'Fox Hollow' on bing.

'Hillbrook'

 'Hillbrook', the George Arents Jr. estate designed by Lewis Colt Albro c. 1916 in Rye, New York.  Arents' father was the treasurer of the American Tobacco Company and Jr. was later associated with the American Machine and Foundry Company and the International Cigar Machinery Company.  It seems the house has been demolished sometime in the last twenty years as the front entrance had been for sale as recently as 2007.
